Introduction: Anne Thibault, Conference Co-Chair
Opening keynote by a leading women’s rights activist and pioneer in international development to reflect on achieving gender equality and ending discrimination against women. Ms. Byanyima will bust some big myths about the global economy and expose the hidden and visible barriers that discriminate against women and girls - especially those who live in poverty - and deny them opportunities. Echoing women worldwide who are leaders on the front-lines of change, Ms. Byanyima will show how we can build a fairer, more feminist, human economy.
