To compete and thrive in the 21st century, democracies, and the United States in particular, must develop new national security and economic strategies that address the geopolitics of information. In the 20th century, market capitalist democracies geared infrastructure, energy, trade, and even social policy to protect and advance that era’s key source of power—manufacturing. In this century, democracies must better account for information geopolitics across all dimensions of domestic policy and national strategy.
Mahsa Rouhi will present an MTA seminar entitled "An Analysis of Nuclear Negotiations with Iran" on Tuesday March 15, 2011 in the Belfer Center library at 9:30am.
The presentation analyses recent negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program, focusing on the objectives and concerns that shape Iran’s position and responses. In doing so, it provides an in depth analysis of the Iranian decision-making process using a governmental politics model.
