To compete and thrive in the 21st century, democracies, and the United States in particular, must develop new national security and economic strategies that address the geopolitics of information. In the 20th century, market capitalist democracies geared infrastructure, energy, trade, and even social policy to protect and advance that era’s key source of power—manufacturing. In this century, democracies must better account for information geopolitics across all dimensions of domestic policy and national strategy.
Biography
Guy Keeley joined the Belfer Center as Finance Director in July 2013, having spent the previous 14 years working for the Hauser Center for Nonprofit Organizations at Harvard University. Prior to that he worked at the Center for Business & Government at HKS for 2 years. He is a native of Liverpool, England and has lived in the USA since 1988.
He is a member of the National Council of University Research Administrators.
