Harvard President Convenes High-level Panel on Paris Conference—Momentum Building for Significant Agreement
Drew Faust, President of Harvard University, hosted a high-level panel on November 16, 2015 addressing the upcoming Paris climate talks, under the auspices of the United Nations. The panel was moderated by Richard McCullough, Vice Provost for Research at Harvard University. Participants were:

Coral Davenport
Energy and Environmental Policy Correspondent, New York Times
Robert Stavins
Albert Pratt Professor of Business and Government, Harvard Kennedy School; Director, Harvard Project on Climate Agreements
Zou Ji
Deputy Director, China's National Center for Climate Strategy and International Cooperation
Robert Stavins observed during the event, with regard to the Paris conference: "There's an opportunity now and there's promise now that I have not experienced in the 20 years that I've been following … [the climate] negotiations…My view is that this is a very significant moment, both in the history of climate negotiations, but more importantly … in the history of seriously addressing global climate change.”
