Mary Holloway
Biography
Ms. Mary Holloway is a career Department of Defense civilian with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). She has worked in several parts of the U.S. Government, providing national security and intelligence support to the interagency, U.S. military, and senior policymakers at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels. She most recently supported NGA's Congressional & Intergovernmental Affairs office as an Appropriations Liaison and prepared NGA for budgetary engagements with Congress. In
prior roles within the agency, Ms. Holloway worked on global geospatial analytic accounts.
Many of her previous experiences focused on senior policymaker support across the executive and legislative branches of government. Ms. Holloway worked at the National Security Council and served as a Special Assistant for the National Security Advisor and as a Director for Intelligence Programs. She began her career in the U.S. Senate, working for Sen. John W. Warner of Virginia and later returned to Congress as a Brookings Legislative Fellow to provide National Security support in the office of Sen. Bill Hagerty of Tennessee.
She holds a B.A. from Washington and Lee University and a Science & Technology Intelligence M.S., with a concentration in Emerging Threats and Disruptive Technologies, from the National Intelligence University. Her graduate laboratory research was conducted at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, focusing on remote sensing and hyperspectral signatures.
