Namrata Narain

Namrata Narain is an Assistant Professor at the Questrom School of Business. She obtained her PhD in Economics from Harvard University in 2025. She is interested in studying economic growth, with a special interest in the economics of innovation and innovation in Asia. Her current research projects include studying rising critical technology innovation in China, short-termism in the venture capital industry, and financial returns of NIH R&D investment. Her research has been covered by the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, and VoxEU, among others.
