Petrut (Peter) Gogalniceanu

Dr Peter Gogalniceanu, an International Security Program Postdoctoral Fellow, is a transplant surgeon, author, and academic entrepreneur. His research centers on crisis management and healthcare security, with a particular focus on developing health systems' resilience against military conflict and hybrid threats. He is an international speaker, addressing topics that include executive leadership, crisis management, human factors, and advancements in surgical safety and innovation. 

Dr Gogalniceanu is the 2024 Fulbright-Lloyds Scholar at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Director of the King’s Health Partners’ Executive Fellowship in Surgical Leadership. Previously, he served as the Founding President of the University College London Surgical Society.
