Alvin Tian

Alvin Tian is passionate about energy transition and decarbonization of the economy. Alvin had worked in Royal Dutch Shell with extensive experiences in M&A, energy trading and corporate investment. He was a core deal maker in Shell’s largest merger deal with BG Group in 2015. Most recently, Alvin was leading Shell’s investment in energy digitalization, FinTech and digital logistics in China.

Alvin is currently pursuing an MPA degree in Harvard Kennedy School, where he is focusing on clean energy & climate change, and impact investment. Alvin has just completed an MBA degree in MIT Sloan, where he focused on PE/VC, renewable energy, and climate tech.
