Iris Bohnet
Iris Bohnet, Professor of Public Policy and Faculty Chair of the Kennedy School's Women and Public Policy Program, teaches courses on behavioral decision analysis and negotiation. A behavioral economist, her research combines insights from economics and psychology. Her research focuses on trust its determinants and its relevance fornegotiation and for individual and collective decision making. She runs her experimental studies in different parts of the world, examining the determinants and effects of trust from a cross-cultural perspective. A Swiss citizen, she holds a PhD in economics from the University of Zurich. She spent a year as a Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. She is married and has two children.
