Prior to the Fellowship, Lt Col Kevin A. Deibler was Chief of Staff, Legislative Liaison, United States Cyber Command, Fort Meade, Maryland. In this role, he advised United States Cyber Command senior leadership on legislative engagements with congressional members and staff, senior Department of Defense officials, Joint Staff, Services, subordinate commands, and the interagency. Lt Col Deibler represented the Commander and Deputy Commander for United States Cyber Command and led negotiations with members of Congress and staff across a broad and complex range of Command initiatives and priorities.

Lt Col Deibler received a commission in the Air Force through Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Air Force ROTC program. He served on active duty until joining the Air Force Reserve in 2006. Lt Col Deibler has deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and Operation UNIFIED PROTECTOR with more than 120 combat flying hours in HH-60, C-130, and CV-22 aircraft. He holds a BS in Computer Science, MA in Human Relations, PhD in Organizational Psychology, Juris Doctor, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification, as well as several other combat rescue and cyberspace qualifications.

Prior to his current position, Lt Col Deibler was a Legislative Fellow and served as Commander, 689th Network Operations Squadron, Maxwell AFB, Alabama.
