Lieutenant Colonel Lexie Buenaventura most recently served as Commander, Kirk U.S. Army Health Clinic and Director, Health Services for Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Past assignment highlights include Medical Planner, U.S. Army Pacific, Fort Shafter, Hawaii; Medical Integrator, U.S. Forces Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Chief, Operations/Plans, 86th Combat Support Hospital, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, deployed with 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) for Operation United Assistance, Liberia; Medical Observer/Controller, Trainer, the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California; Instructor, U.S. Army Medical Department; Commander, Echo Company, 232nd Medical Battalion, Fort Sam Houston, Texas; Adjutant, 30th Medical Brigade, Iraq; and Support Operations Officer, 226th Medical Logistics Battalion, Iraq. LTC Buenaventura earned her Bachelor of Science degree and commission into the United States Army Medical Service Corps in 2001 from the College of William and Mary. She holds a Masters in Military Arts and Sciences from the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
