HRH Prince Turki Al Faisal of Saudi Arabia visits the Kennedy School

His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al Faisal of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited Harvard Kennedy School on November 19th. He addressed Boston-based Middle East scholars at a luncheon organized by the Crown-Belfer Middle East Seminar Series and spoke to students, faculty and participants of the Harvard Arab Weekend in the John F. Kennedy Forum, an event co-sponsored by the Middle East Initiative and Harvard University's Institute of Politics.

In his Forum address, entitled "A Saudi Foreign Policy Doctrine for the New Decade," Prince Turki discussed the security threat posed by Yemen, a southern neighbor of the Kingdom, as well as recent progress made through a long-standing American and Saudi partnership in counterterrorism efforts. The former director of Saudi Arabia's General Intelligence Directorate answered questions about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and Saudi Arabia's policy toward Iran. After his address, Prince Turki met with Saudi students of Harvard Kennedy School and organizers of the Harvard Arab Weekend and the Harvard Business School MENA Conference at a reception organized by the Middle East Initiative.
