PDP Principal co-authors National Academies/National Reserach Council Report aimed at providing the federal government and the nation with a technology roadmap for how science and engineering can assist in homeland security efforts.

Washington, DC - Ashton Carter is member of Committee on Science and Technology for Countering Terrrorism which recently looked into the role of S&T in countering terrorism. The report Making the Nation Safer: The Role of Science and Technology in Countering Terrorism, a volume written by the National Research Council, Committee on Science and Technology for Countering Terrorism was co-chaired by Dr. Lewis Branscomb and Dr. Richard Klausner.
