Cambridge, MA – On May 18, 2005, PDP Co-Director Ashton B. Carter met with former Prime Minister Goh Kun of the Republic of Korea to discuss the ongoing situation on the Korean peninsula regarding North Korea’s nuclear weapons program. Both shared their insights on how the situation could be resolved, and how to strengthen the US-ROK alliance. They were joined by PDP Associate Director Gretchen Bartlett and PDP Research Assistants Steve LaMontagne and Hyun Kim.
