Panelists will discuss Eleanor Roosevelt?s detailed vision for the promotion and protection of human rights world-wide, and they will compare that vision to the current reality. They will use the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to discuss the status of women?s rights at home and abroad, the right to health and the availability of health care in the United States, and the need for corporations and consumers to tackle the problem of child labor.
