How do multinational corporations anticipate and respond to global crises? Join the Intelligence Project for a seminar with Cécile Caplin for a talk on how corporations approach crisis management to mitigate and respond to global crises. This session will offer insights into how corporate professionals safeguard people and operations during health, security, and geopolitical disruptions. Drawing on recent cases such as the power outage in Spain and the 2025 India-Pakistan conflict, she will explore how security and resilience teams within major corporations identify risks and support decision-making for business resilience during periods of escalating tension.

This session is open to Harvard ID holders and will be held under the Chatham House rules. Registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.

Cécile Caplin is a distinguished security and intelligence professional with over two decades of experience spanning public and private sectors. A former intelligence officer with the French government, she served in strategic positions across Latin America, Afghanistan, and Paris, specializing in international security matters. Currently serving as the Head of International Risk Management & Resilience at a multinational technology company, she brings extensive expertise in crisis management, intelligence, and international operations. She was a Belfer Fellow from 2017-2018 and holds advanced degrees in international administration.
