Defense Seminar: The Mission Continues Veterans Group

Open to the Public

This is a call to anyone who has served in the uniformed services. Come and discuss how you can team with other veterans in service to your community – from small things to large.

About

This is a call to anyone who has served in the uniformed services.

There are many great organizations set up to serve veterans, but there is only one I know of that challenges veterans to serve others.

With slogans like, “Reporting for Duty in your Community,” and “Empowering Veterans to serve their country in new ways,” the Mission Continues makes clear its purpose. Veterans, who already have stepped up to the plate once in service, are being challenged to keep serving as a team even after the military.

As veterans you have earned something from Americans that many groups do not – their trust. They have relied on you once as veterans and they are relying on you now. Come and discuss how you can team with other veterans in service to your community – from small things to large.

Drop by Weil Town hall at 1630 on 6 May and meet Rachel McNeill, the Boston area “platoon leader” for Mission Continues. She will be joined by Lori Stevens, Vice President, Growth Strategy and Development, and BG (ret) Kevin Ryan of the Belfer Center.

This event is hosted by the Belfer Center and the Mission Continues and is open to all people who have served in the uniformed services.

Visit the Mission Continues website or email Boston platoon leader Rachel McNeill at rmcneill@missioncontinues.org.
