Angelie Oberoi, MS, is the Senior Director for Clinical Excellence for NYC Health and Hospitals Data and Analytics Team. With over 15 years of combined clinical and technical work experience, leading health care organizations to become more data driven is the perfect application of her professional experiences.

For Angelie, data and analytics is the return on investment of the electronic medical record rollout throughout healthcare and allows organizations to leverage insights on how to monitor, improve, and predict how care is delivered. Understanding how healthcare is delivered and the application of data is a unique skill and putting them together has been Angelie's passion.

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, this skill has helped Angelie provide insights on the current state of the pandemic, recognize trends, identify opportunities to increase preparedness, and model future predictions to increase awareness for the organization.

Bharti Sharma is a COVID-19 Intelligence Team Lead/Director of Data and Analytics Ambassador Program at New York City Health and Hospitals. She is a foreign trained dentist with the Masters in Healthcare Administration and Information Technology. In the past, Bharti has worked on population health informatics and Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program initiatives in various large healthcare systems.

Bharti is passionate about investigating public healthcare concerns and leveraging information technology to lead data to information and information to insights. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bharti and her team have developed many analytical and strategic COVID-19 Intelligence dashboards for NYC Health and Hospital leaders to provide evidence-based data insights aiding in operational decision making and thereby serving COVID-19 patient population better.
