Lex Atomica: Locating the Limits of the Legality of Nuclear Weapons’ Use

Is it legal to use nuclear weapons under international law today, and if so, under what circumstances? In this seminar, Sebastian Brixey-Williams, Research Fellow on the Project on Managing the Atom, will present on the influence – as well as the inconsistencies and limitations – of international law in restraining nuclear weapons use, and map out concrete future pathways to strengthen the law’s role in nuclear operations.
