The Man Who Would be King: MBS and His Transformation of Saudi Arabia

Harvard Faculty, Fellows, Staff, and Students

Please join the Belfer Center for a Director's Lunch with Karen Elliott House, Belfer Center Senior Fellow, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, and longtime expert on Saudi Arabia. She will explore the first decade of Mohammed bin Salman’s (MBS) rule, including his aspirations for reform, his geopolitical ambitions, and the tensions between his goals and the policies of President Donald Trump. The discussion will analyze current dynamics against the backdrop of history--and an ambitious leader's long-term vision for the future.

The seminar will be moderated by Belfer Center Director Meghan O'Sullivan, Jeane Kirkpatrick Professor of the Practice of International Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School.

Attendance is in-person and for HUID holders only. Space is limited so please only RSVP if you plan to attend.

Submitting your registration does not confirm your attendance. If you are confirmed to attend this event, you will receive an email from a member of the Belfer Center Operations Team with arrival details ahead of the event.
