Isaac Yanovich was born in Medellin, Columbia. He majored in Industrial Engineering at Los Andes University, and Pittsburg University. He obtained an MA in Industrial Management from MIT. Before his appointment as President of Ecopetrol SA in August of 2002, Isaac was co-founder and Director of Betainvest SA, a private investment bank in Columbia. During the last 10 years, he has been a member of the board of directors of the Women's World Bank and several private and public companies in Columbia.

The lecture will be given in Spanish.
