Belfer Center Directors' Seminar "Relations With The New Bush Administration: A Russian Perspective," with Andrei Kokoshin, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, former First Deputy Minister of Defense and former Secretary of the Russian Security Council.

Kokoshin's experience includes five years as Russia's First Deputy Minister of Defense (1992-97) and two decades at the Institute of the USA and Canada of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He has published a number of books and articles on international and defense issues and is a specialist in political-military affairs and national security. He holds a doctorate in history and has been appointed to the International Board of the new Nunn-Turner Nuclear Threat Initiative project.
