Russian National Security Decision-Making in the Late Putin Era

Harvard Faculty, Fellows, Staff, and Students

Join the Intelligence Project for a seminar discussion with Steedman Hinckley, who has served seven presidents advising on Russian Affairs. With war ongoing in Ukraine and Vladimir Putin at the helm in Russia with no clear succession plan, it is critically important to examine Russian national security decision-making in the Putin era. Steedman Hinckley brings extraordinary insight to this conversation, having retired in 2023 as a member of the CIA’s senior analytic service.

The event will take place on Thursday, Oct 24 from 1:30-2:45pm in the Starr Auditorium (HKS Belfer 200). It will be under the Chatham House Rules.

This seminar will be moderated by the Intelligence Project. It will be in person only and open to registrants with a Harvard ID.
