The South Caucasus is a nexus of superpower interests, energy transport, and ethnic conflict. What is on the region?s security agenda?

Dr. Araz Azimov has served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1989, holding a variety of positions. He became Deputy Foreign Minister in 1994, and he is also Azerbaijan?s chief negotiator for the Nagorno-Karabagh conflict. He is a graduate of the Azerbaijani State University?s School of Oriental Studies and is regarded as an expert on Iran.
