RSVP Required Harvard Faculty, Fellows, Staff, and Students

Please join the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs for a conversation with Amos Yadlin, Senior Fellow with the Belfer Center’s Middle East Initiative and former Major General in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). He will discuss geopolitical dynamics in the Middle East following the tenuous Israel-Hamas ceasefire, as well as what it will take to build lasting peace and security in the region.

Major General (ret.) Amos Yadlin served as a fighter pilot for 33 years, ultimately becoming Deputy Commander of the Israeli Air Force. He then served as a commander of the IDF Military Colleges and the National Defense College, Defense Attaché to the United States, and Chief of the Military Intelligence Directorate. He was Executive Director of the Institute for National Security Studies from 2011 to 2021.

The seminar will be moderated by Belfer Center Director Meghan O'Sullivan, Jeane Kirkpatrick Professor of the Practice of International Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School.
