In this conversation with Christina Davis (Program on U.S.-Japan Relations Director and Professor of Government), Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Nakamitsu will address the goals of elimination of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and strict control of conventional weapons. She will also discuss opportunities and challenges of multilateral agreements and norm-setting in disarmament, arms control, and non-proliferation.
