Beibei Wang

Beibei Wang is a professor of the School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast University, China. She received her PhD in Power Systems major from Southeast University, China in 2007. From 2012 to 2013, she was a visiting scholar in the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. Earlier in her career (2003–2004), she worked at the Nanjing Automation Research Institute, where she was engaged in the development of SCADA software for power systems. 

Her research interests include electricity market design, demand response, and optimization of power system operations with large-scale renewable energy integration. Since 2004, she has closely followed the market-oriented development of China’s energy transition and has accumulated extensive theoretical and practical experience in both provincial and interregional electricity markets.
