Joshua is a second-year Master in Public Policy student and Belfer Young Leaders Student Fellow. His research interest lies at the intersection of the energy transition and the policy tools and financing required to enable this transition.

Over the summer, Joshua worked for the Climate Policy Initiative, where he designed sustainable finance instruments, reviewed MDBs' financial architecture, and analyzed adaptation needs for small-developing island nations. During his first year at HKS, he supported Professor Akash Deep in developing a financial mechanism that can disentangle development from climate finance.

Before CPI and the Kennedy School, Joshua worked for EY’s Quantitative Economics and Statistics Team for several years. During his tenure at EY, he helped several large financial institutions measure their financed emissions and set goals to reduce their portfolio lending to energy and power companies. He holds a BA in Economics from Macalester College.
