Selmon Rafey

Selmon Rafey is the Program Coordinator for Events and Communications for the Belfer Center's Middle East Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he manages the program's high-profile public engagement, research dissemination, and community-building efforts.

Prior to joining MEI, Selmon served as the Program Manager at the Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute at Harvard University, where he was responsible for their event and student-focused programming. Selmon holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University, where he focused on security, conflict, and resiliency studies in the Middle East and South Asia.
