Dr. Sheng Peng is an Ernest May Fellow in History & Policy in the International Security Program at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center and a postdoctoral fellow at the Research Center for the History of Transformations at University Vienna. His current research focuses on history of technology transfer from NATO countries to both mainland China and Taiwan during the late 1970s’ Cold War.
Dr. Peng holds a D.Phil. History degree from St. Antony’s College, Oxford University, an M.A. Degree in International Affairs from George Washington University, and a B.A. degree in International Relations from Drake University with minors in economics and music.
