Westley Cineus serves as the Director of Finance at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, where he oversees financial operations and strategy.
Before joining the Belfer Center, Westley was the Assistant Director of Finance and Research Administration at Opportunity Insights, where he played a critical role in establishing financial systems and managing diverse funding streams.
Westley's extensive experience also includes his tenure as a Senior Research Officer at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, where he managed a complex sponsored research portfolio across multiple institutions, including Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He began his career at Harvard’s Office of Sponsored Programs as a Financial Analyst and later became a Research Administration Specialist in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences.
Westley holds a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Cambridge College and an MBA from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.
