Jason Walter
Jason Walter is a Research Assistant at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, where he focuses on applied history, international organizations, multilateralism, and the Middle East.
Jason graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Politics in 2023. Prior to joining the Belfer Center his research focused on using archival materials to understand American foreign policy decision making, particularly in situations where the U.S. sought external approval for the use of force. His undergraduate thesis, titled “Why Wait? Identifying State Motives for Gaining IO Authorization When Going to War,” received Brandeis’s Doris Brewer Cohen Award in Justice and Public Life for being the best undergraduate thesis in the Social Sciences.
