Mr. Lewis R. Call joined the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S) in May 2009.  Most recently, he served as Deputy Director, DoD Counter Insider Threat Program starting in October 2015.  In this role, he provides strategy and direction to the DoD InT enterprise to bring about necessary programs and capability for DoD Insider Threat defeat and national compliance, to include compliance assessment, governance, training, and analysis.

Mr. Call began his service in the Air Force as an intelligence collection operator.  In his 25 years in the Air Force, Mr Call filled many intelligence roles culminating in positions as Operations Superintendent for two RC-135 squadrons and two expeditionary intelligence squadrons and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as Operations Superintendent of an Expeditionary Reconnaissance Group. 

In 2003, Mr. Call moved to SRA International as a Senior Systems Analyst.  In this capacity, Mr Call worked Common Data Link and satellite communications issues for OUSD(I).  Mr. Call began his tour as a civilian government employee for OUSD(I&S), ISR Programs in May 2009 as the Deputy Director, ISR and Special Communications.  He assumed responsibilities as the Deputy Director, SIGINT ISR Programs in February 2010, and then became the Integration Branch Chief in January 2014.   

Lewis earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management/Technical Management from the University of Maryland in 1990, a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management from Central Michigan University in 1997, and a Master’s of Science Degree in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University in 2013. He completed the George Washington University Elliot School of International Affairs, National Security Studies Program, Senior Manager Course in 2010.  Mr Call was awarded DAWIA level III Certification in Program Management in 2013.  He also completed Federal Executive Institute, Leadership for a Democratic Society in 2015.
