Robert Wasserman is a member of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Cadre and most recently served as NRO Representative to USSPACECOM Combined Force Space Component Command. Within this role, he managed programs on operational policies, procedures, and processes between the NRO Operations Center, Combined Space Operations Center, and the National Space Defense Center to enable DoD and IC unity of effort.

Robert began his career as a Space Operations Officer in the US Air Force (USAF) with notable assignments that include Space Surveillance Operations Crew Commander, Space Shuttle Payload Officer at Johnson Space Center, and staff assignments at HQ Air Force Space Command and HQ USAF. He is a USAF Weapons School graduate and holds a BSE in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, an MSE in Astronautical Engineering from West Coast University, an MA in Space Systems Management from Webster University, and an MBA from the University of LaVerne.
