Robin Ellerbe

Robin Ellerbe is a National Security Fellow at the Belfer Center. He is an attorney in the U.S. Coast Guard. In his previous assignments, he provided legal advice on a broad array of legal authorities that underpin the Coast Guard’s eleven statutory missions. In his most recent assignment, Robin served as the Staff Judge Advocate for the 14th Coast Guard District, which encompasses the Central Pacific from the Hawaiian Islands to Japan. Prior assignments also include stints at the U.S. House of Representatives as a Congressional Fellow, and a tour with the Dept. of Justice Aviation and Admiralty Office as a trial attorney. He holds a BA in Political Science from North Carolina State University, a JD from North Carolina Central University, and a LLM in Taxation from the University of Houston.
