Talking to the Taliban
2010 – 2011: A Reflection
Ambassador Marc Grossman writes about his experience negotiating with the Taliban from 2010-2011 in Prism magazine, published by the National Defense University. Ambassador Grossman was the first ever fellow of the Future of Diplomacy Project and as part of the Future of Diplomacy Project's "Negotiators" series, delivered a talk entitled "Negotiating with the Taliban" at the Harvard Kennedy School on April 2, 2014.
