Field education and hands-on practice are fundamental components of public health education, providing students with real-world experience and the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.

Arctic Initiative Research Fellow Sappho Gilbert, together with colleagues at the Harvard Chan School's Office of Field Education and Practice, co-developed five learning modules that take a deeper dive into each of the elements of the community engaged learning framework developed and applied at Harvard Chan.
