Energy Policy Seminar: Elliot Diringer on "Taking Stock of the International Climate Effort"

Join us for an Energy Policy Seminar featuring Elliot Diringer, Senior Policy Advisor in the office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry. Diringer will give a talk entitled "Taking Stock of the International Climate Effort." Q&A to follow. Buffet-style lunch will be served.

Registration: No RSVP is required. Room capacity is limited and seating will be on a first come, first served basis. The seminar will also be streamed via Zoom. Speaker

Elliot Diringer is a Senior Policy Advisor in the office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry. He has been actively engaged on international climate issues for nearly 30 years. Prior to joining the State Department, he was executive vice president of the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), where he regularly convened informal discussions among lead climate negotiators and worked with Fortune 500 companies in support of effective climate change policies. During the Clinton Administration, he served as Deputy White House Press Secretary and Deputy Assistant to the President, and as communications director and a senior policy advisor at the Council on Environmental Quality. He covered the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio as an environmental reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle.
