Please join the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs for a conversation with Michael Greenwald, Director of Global Executive Relations at Amazon Web Services. Michael will discuss the potential of A.I. to transform the public sector and how to leverage this technology to drive American competitiveness.

Michael is a seasoned executive who has spearheaded transformative, global initiatives in both the public and private sector. In his various roles he has overseen complex projects; managed diverse stakeholders; shaped strategic, revenue-driving initiatives; and forged strategic and mutually beneficial partnerships that earn trust. As Director of Global Executive Relations at Amazon Web Services, he is pioneering the international business expansion and driving the company’s artificial intelligence innovation narrative for the Worldwide Public Sector Business. He is responsible for crafting the global public sector business strategy and the integration of generative AI into public sector systems. He actively works with Heads of State and CEOs in National Security, Defense, Finance, Transportation, Energy, and Health at the Global, Federal, and State level to identify what they need to drive scale, and make the U.S. more competitive in these various sectors. Michael is a member of the International Council at the Belfer Center.

The seminar will be moderated by Rebekah Reed, Associate Director for the Belfer Center Program on Emerging Technology, Scientific Advancement, and Global Policy.
