Join the Belfer Center's Intelligence Project and a team from the RAND Corporation's Forecasting Initiative for a lunch session that will include training on how to conduct strategic forecasting, and information on an upcoming competition, "Shape the Future", that invites students to try their hands at forecasting on geopolitical, economic, military, healthcare, and social questions while competing against other university students from around the world. Speakers will discuss the relationship between forecasting and intelligence as well as the conduct of crowdsourced forecasting on key policy questions.
