HarvardX Syria Lectures
In fall 2013, Belfer Center Director Graham Allison and Senior Fellow David Sanger, offered a free, online course through edX, a nonprofit online education enterprise founded by Harvard and MIT.
The course, titled “Central Challenges of American National Security, Strategy and the Press: An Introduction,” asks students to imagine they are advisors to President Obama, making a recommendation about what he should do to confront the toughest foreign policy crises on the agenda.
First up on the agenda was the conflict in Syria, which they addressed in September 2013.
