Kevin Bae is a business & security strategy consultant specializing in market entry and business development in East Asia. A lifelong defense and security specialist, Kevin spent 31 years as an officer in the U.S. Army and Central Intelligence Agency, serving throughout the Asia Pacific and South Asia. He was a decorated senior operations officer at CIA who directed global programs against the U.S.’s premier foreign adversaries while also building cross-government and new allied partnerships. Kevin was widely regarded as a key innovator of spycraft within the U.S. and Allied intelligence communities, helping launch a wave of modernization initiatives that helped reshape the art of human espionage throughout his career. He is professionally fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Kevin holds an Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He previously worked at the Boston Consulting Group, advising on growth strategy and new market entry. Outside of his professional work, he coaches youth football and is an avid promoter of the “rucking for fitness” movement and women’s flag/tackle football. He and his wife Jennifer have two teenage children.
