Seokju Oh is a historian of U.S. foreign relations and political economy in the long twentieth century. His current research examines the transformation of the U.S. national state and its global role during the era of the world wars through the lens of sectionalism.

Seokju graduated summa cum laude from Seoul National University with degrees in International Relations and Western History. He is a Ph.D. candidate in History at Columbia University and an Ernest May Fellow in History and Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School.
