Ethan Kessler

Ethan Kessler is a second-year master in public policy student and Belfer Young Leader Student Fellow concentrating in international and global affairs. Last summer, he interned at the J5 Strategic Planning and Policy Directorate at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command in Oahu. He was a research associate for U.S. foreign policy at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs from July 2021 to August 2023, where he researched Taiwan’s defense policy, U.S. security assistance, and sanctions. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in political science and history in 2020.
