CP violation in neutral B meson decays has been observed confirming the prediction of the Kobayashi-Maskawa model where introduction of six quaks naturally induces CPviolation in the weak interaction. The measurements of CP asymmetryc in B meson decays were made at the newly constructed Asymmetric B factories, which consist of high luminosity, ebergy-asymmetric e+e− colliders (KEKB and PEP-II) and detectors (Belle and BaBar). The results are in good agreement and are consistent with other experimental results within the framework of the Standard Model.
