The launch of the new Project on Europe and the Transatlantic Relationship concluded with a public John F. Kennedy Forum at Harvard University. Nicholas Burns, the Faculty Chair of the project, moderated a panel discussion with Pedro Morenés Ambassador of Spain to the United States David O’Sullivan Ambassador of the European Union to the United States, Julianne Smith Senior Fellow and Director of the Transatlantic Security Program, Center for a New American Security, and Peter Wittig Ambassador of Germany to the United States. Douglas Elmendorf, Dean and Don K. Price Professor of Public Policy of the Harvard Kennedy School, provided opening remarks to introduce the Project's work and value to the school.
