Summary

How can the West restore European security after the Russo-Ukrainian War? Should Ukraine join NATO to shelter under the U.S. nuclear umbrella? Or is there a choice that does not rely on the threat of nuclear apocalypse? The safest, surest path to reestablishing European security is a non-offensive, confidence-building defense against Russian aggression that provides no pretext for a Russian attack.
