Future of Technology and Supply Chain Security Symposium

RSVP Required Harvard Faculty, Fellows, Staff, and Students

Please join the Belfer Center’s Cyber Project and the White House Office of the National Cyber Director this Friday, April 14 for a day-long symposium, Future of Technology and Supply Chain Security. Taking place during Supply Chain Integrity Month, the symposium aims to drive discussion on innovative methods to mitigate a variety of risks posed to cyber supply chains in order to ensure a resilient and defensible cyberspace. Students are welcome to RSVP for any or all events.

Methods to Secure Cyber Supply Chains Panel

9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

This panel will feature a brief introduction by Belfer Center Co-Director Eric Rosenbach, will be moderated by David Sanger (NY Times), and feature Camille Stewart Gloster (White House Office of the National Cyber Director), Dr. Edlyn Levine (America's Frontier Fund), and Val Cofield (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency). This panel is open to the public and will be on the record. Doors open at 9:00 AM and breakfast will be provided.

Belfer Center Director's Lunch with Camille Stewart Gloster

Please join the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs for a Director’s Lunch with Camille Stewart Gloster, Deputy National Cyber Director for Technology and Ecosystem Security at the White House, on April 14th. This session will be moderated by Belfer Center Alumna and Senior Policy Advisor with the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Lauren Zabierek. 

Deputy National Cyber Director Camille Stewart Gloster will discuss ONCD’s cyber workforce efforts by illustrating why the deficit is a critical cybersecurity vulnerability and previewing the forthcoming National Cyber Workforce and Education Strategy. Time permitting, the ONCD Technology Security team will also provide a high-level overview of the ONCD’s supply chain security work pertaining to the CHIPS and Science Act and open-source software. 

This event is off the record and will be in-person for HUID holders only. Space is limited for this event, so please only RSVP if you plan to attend. You will be notified prior to the event whether you are permitted to attend.

This small group discussion hosted by the Women in Defense, Diplomacy, and Development student group will offer a chance to hear from Camille on her lessons in leadership and to ask for advice regarding careers in cyber, tech, and public service. This session will be off the record and will be in-person for HUID holders only.
