Chaitanya Gupta is a Research Fellow under the Emerging Technology, Scientific Advancement, and Global Policy
and Environmental and Natural Resources Programs at the Belfer Center. His work spans financing and policy solutions to de-risk first-of-a-kind (FOAK) climate infrastructure, sustainability roadmaps for hyperscale data centers, and, most recently, critical mineral strategies across energy, semiconductor, and defense supply chains. Previously, Chaitanya worked with an early-stage climate tech startup in India, enabling financing for renewable energy procurement. He also served at Dalberg, a leading impact focused management consulting firm, where he advised investors, companies, and governments on scaling innovations for clean energy, healthcare, and education in underserved and emerging markets. He also serves as an advisor for various early-stage startups, providing strategic guidance on growth and market entry. Chaitanya holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, specializing in technology and climate policy, where he was honored as a John F. Kennedy Fellow.
