C. Raja Mohan

Dr. Mohan is one of India’s leading strategic thinkers and commentators. He is Head of Strategic Studies and Distinguished Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi, a foreign affairs columnist for The Indian Express newspaper, a Visiting Research Professor at the Institute of South Asian Studies, Singapore, a Non-Resident Senior Associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Washington, D.C., and a Non-Resident Fellow at the Lowry Institute for International Policy, Sydney.

Dr. Mohan has served as a member of India’s National Security Advisory Board and has been the Diplomatic Editor and the Washington Correspondent of The Hindu and the Strategic Affairs Editor of The Indian Express. He was previously a senior fellow at the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi, a Professor at the School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, a Penn Distinguished International Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania and the Henry Alfred Kissinger Scholar at the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C. Dr Raja Mohan has a Ph.D. in International Relations and is the author of several books.
